Missfueling Device or Potential Problem?

Each time you fill up your diesel guzzling vehicle there is a potential problem of using the wrong fuel.  There is a missfueling device available through Fuel Sure called the Fuel Sure.  This device prevents missfueling issues.  However, there is more to the whole missfueling device than you might realise.  Let’s take a look at your vehicle insurance.

In the UK there are 32 insurance companies for fleet and personal vehicles.  Of those 32, seven insurance companies clearly state they will not cover missfueling issues.  The other 25 may or may not cover the accident.  Without insurance to cover the issue of missfueling you could be looking at over six thousand pounds to correct the error.  Furthermore you waste the tank of fuel you just bought.  Essentially when missfueling occurs you are just throwing away money that is better spent elsewhere whether you have a fleet or not.

With a fleet you could be looking at more than £30,000 a year just on missfueling repairs.  The potential problem you leave yourself open to when you don’t install missfueling devices is grave and it just doesn’t make sense.

Even if you spend £25 per missfueling device on 100 vehicles you are only spending £2500.  That is a significant savings, just by getting a missfueling device.  Not all employees may misfuel their vehicles, but why take the chance?  You are not only losing money when you have a missfueling mishap.

You are also losing time and opportunities.  For instance say you have a potential client who has asked for a pickup at 10am.  Your driver needs fuel, so he goes to the station at 8am at the start of his shift.  Now the driver goes around for an hour and a half making pickups and deliveries.  On his way to the new client who could be giving you a million pounds a year for services, the engine breaks down.  The client doesn’t see a reliable company.  They see a company who cannot meet their needs.  The fact is, with missfueling there is a potential to lose more than just money.  The driver will be out of work or in another vehicle.  You have to find someone to tow the truck to the garage, have it fixed, and possibly be down a truck for another driver.  It is a cycle.

This cycle can be ended with a small amount of your earnings with a missfueling device.  Why take the chance of letting your company go to ruin or even your personal vehicle when the Fuel Sure is there to solve your problems?
